Sustainability in Business
This Valentine's Day show your love for the environment and join the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce for a Sustainability in Business Forum on the San Francisco Climate Action Plan. The San Francisco Climate Action Plan (The Plan) charts a pathway to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and works toward addressing racial and social equity, public health, economic recovery, resilience, and providing safe and affordable housing to all. Hear Interim Director of the Department of the Environment, Tyrone Jue, speak to the goals of the Climate Action Plan and how it impacts your business.
About Tyrone Jue
Tyrone Jue has more than 20 years of experience leading teams and advancing environmental policies and programs focused on climate mitigation and adaptation, toxics, biodiversity, zero waste, water, air pollution, racial equity, clean transportation, electric vehicles, and renewable energy. He is currently the Acting Director of the San Francisco Environment Department. Tyrone is also the Mayoral representative to the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) - the regional regulatory agency responsible for addressing air and climate pollution throughout the Bay Area.
