Then join us for our Supes for Lunch on Monday, December 18* for District 8 Supervisor Jeff Sheehy's appearance at the Chamber. Supervisor Sheehy serves as vice chair of both the Board of Supervisors Public Safety and Neighborhood Services and Budget and Finance Federal Select Committee. He's authored legislation to ban bicycle chop shops, establish the adult use cannabis regulatory framework and recently introduced legislation creating the Office of Tenant Assistance.
Supervisor Sheehy was appointed to serve as District 8 Supervisor by Mayor Ed Lee on January 6, 2017. District 8 encompasses the Castro, Noe Valley, Glen Park, Diamond Heights, Duboce Triangle and parts of Twin Peaks. Prior to joining the Board, Supervisor Sheehy led communications at UCSF AIDS Research Institute, educating the public on the groundbreaking work of UCSF's HIV researchers.
