He's authored legislation to ban bicycle chop shops\, establish the adult use cannabis regulatory framework and recently introduced legislation creating the Office of Tenant Assistance.\n\n \n\nSupervisor Sheehy was appointed to serve as District 8 Supervisor by Mayor Ed Lee on January 6\, 2017. District 8 encompasses the Castro\, Noe Valley\, Glen Park\, Diamond Heights\, Duboce Triangle and parts of Twin Peaks.
