WELL Webinar: 10 Strategies for Women to Succeed and Lead in Business

WELL Webinar: 10 Strategies for Women to Succeed and Lead in Business

Join the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce on October 8th at 11am for WELL Webinar.

Despite many companies making efforts to promote diversity and inclusion, the gender  bias persists, and women face a variety of challenges over the course of their careers. Annie Lau, a Partner at Fisher Phillips, shares her experiences and strategies for succeeding as a woman and as a minority in an organization. She advises and defends employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including charges of discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, breach of contract, and other employment-related claims.

Guest Speaker:
Annie Lau, Partner, San Francisco | Houston, Fisher Fhillips

Annie Lau is a partner in the San Francisco and Houston offices. Annie counsels employers on preventive strategies, compliance matters, develops employee handbooks, policies and procedures, and training material. In addition to her practice as an attorney, Annie gained valuable experience during her time as a human resources manager and intern with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where she develops policy. Annie was selected by Fisher Phillips to be a Fellow on the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity for 2018-2019. She also serves as the firm's Women Initiative Leadership Council (WILC) Ambassador for the San Francisco office.
