Warriors on the Waterfront Watch Party

Warriors on the Waterfront is holding a Warriors opening night watch party for the first game of the 2013-2014 NBA season so fans can cheer on the team. The watch parties are being held across San Francisco so fans in all neighborhoods can participate. During last season's playoff run, Warriors on the Waterfront distinguished itself as the key grassroots effort supporting the team's waterfront pavilion project. Warriors fans of all stripes - including many residents and small businesses along the waterfront - came together to support the team, celebrate their resurgent success and welcome the franchise back home to San Francisco. Local community leaders representing labor, small business, sports, entertainment and youth propelled the effort forward, launching the booster group at a widely-attended event on the steps of City Hall last April. Watch Parties will be held at both the "Wild Hare" (2801 California Street) and "The Taco Shop at Underdogs" (1824 Irving Avenue).
