This workshop event is co-hosted with our partners from the San Francisco workforce development program, TechSF and JVS, a non profit which helps people build skills and find work to achieve self-sufficiency.

The Job Forum supports and coaches job hunters in how to conduct an effective modern job search to find meaningful work. The Job Forum is a non-profit sponsored by the SF Chamber of Commerce, which supports, and grows business in San Francisco through advocacy, economic development, and business development.

The Job Forum is also supported by LinkedIn, which connects people so they can be more successful.

At The Job Forum Small Business Workshop on THURSDAY OCT 8, job hunters will be able to hear from managers who work for and with small businesses here is the SF Bay Area.

You will learn more about what jobs to consider and why to put small businesses on your list as target companies for your job search.

The panel will discuss careers in small business and what some of the many benefits are. These include administrative jobs, roles in data entry or analytics, IT, human resources, marketing, digital marketing, salesforce admin, social media, web site updates, sales, some project or program management tasks, accounting and book-keeping, payroll and more.

At The Job Forum Small Business workshop, the pros and cons of working with small businesses will be candidly covered and the characteristics that are sought and defined as ideal job candidates will be described.
