The San Francisco Climate Action Plan charts a pathway to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and works toward addressing racial and social equity, public health, economic recovery, resilience, and providing safe and affordable housing to all. Hear from the San Francisco Environment Department's Senior Biodiversity Specialist Peter Brastow on the current initiatives the City is undertaking to meet our climate goals through healthy ecosystems. Reimaging San Francisco, spearheaded by the California Academy of Sciences, is a brand new collaboration among 40+ San Francisco agencies, non-profits, institutions, and businesses. The Reimagining SF Program Manager Álvaro Palacios Casanova will talk about this exciting new initiative, whose vision is a San Francisco where people and nature thrive together.
