Alliance for Community Development provides entrepreneurs and business owners with individualized, one-on-one support to help them clarify their goals, their challenges, and their next steps. They also provide technical assistance for funding opportunities and host ecosystem events designed to connect entrepreneurs to industry experts, ecosystem resources, and other entrepreneurs. Their team supports entrepreneurs throughout their entire journey of entrepreneurship.

Melanie Nuni
Director of Programs, Alliance for Community Development
Melanie is the Alliance's Director of Programs. Melanie manages entrepreneur navigation services and coordinates with entrepreneur service providers to assist in improving services for entrepreneurs. Melanie has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs in supporting them to achieve their goals. In 2021 alone, her team assisted entrepreneurs to obtain over $1 million in primarily relief funding capital. Melanie also manages the data, systems, and evaluation of Bay Area Entrepreneurship (BAE) program to ensure that there are clear and measurable outcomes to demonstrate the positive impact on our Bay Area entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Melanie holds a BS in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business and an MPA with an emphasis in Community and Economic Development from San Francisco State. She has worked in corporate, government, and non-profit organizations. Her background in financial industry information technology auditing, government performance auditing, and program evaluation produces valuable skills needed for assessing community needs and impact. Melanie has experience analyzing policy, analyzing data and processes, and implementing and improving systems.
