The Small Business Advisory Council provides a monthly venue for small business owners to meet other small business owners, gain actionable knowledge for their businesses, and ensure that the their voices are represented to policy makers.
The central focus is on issues pertinent to operating, maintaining, and growing a small business in San Francisco. All small business owners who are partners of the Chamber are invited to attend to learn and discuss their concerns.
Gross Reciepts Tax Walk Through
Join us at the Chamber boardroom to hear from Greg Kato, Gross Receipts Tax Director for the City of San Francisco. Greg will provide example of filing business taxes under the new business tax structure. Prior to directing the city’s tax structure changeover Greg spent four years as the Policy and Legislative Manager for the Treasurer and Tax Collector where he oversaw legislative affairs, contract administration, policy implementation, and media inquiries. Bring your questions as Greg guides us through San Francisco’s changing business tax structure.
