Stay up to date on small business issues with the Chamber’s Small Business Advisory Council! The Chamber’s Small Business Advisory Council (SBAC) is your best source for discussion and presentations around current small business policy issues and regulations. SBAC attendees provide valuable recommendations to the full Public Policy Committee and have the opportunity to ask questions of the advocacy team regarding changes in laws that may impact their business.
Invest in Neighborhoods Initiative
In January, we kick off the 2015 year with a presentation by Jorge Rivas, Project Manager of the Invest in Neighborhoods Initiative. He will be on hand to discuss how the program aims to strengthen and revitalize neighborhood commercial districts around the City by bringing economic development services such as loan programs, facade improvement grants and technical assistance for small businesses.
