ADA Policy Update for Small Business Lawsuits filed under the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA) have affected numerous small business in recent years, targeting those who may have thought they were exempt.
Join us at City Hall this month as the heads of both the Office of Small Business, and the Mayor's Office on Disability provide an overview of the regulatory complexities in achieving disability access and possible changes that could help small businesses more easily come into compliance.
With over 40 years of experience in construction, disability access and small business development Regina Dick-Endrizzi, Executive Director of the Office of Small Business, and Carla Johnson, Director of the Mayor's Office on Disability, will be on hand to answer your questions. The Chamber’s Small Business Advisory Council (SBAC) is your best source for discussion and presentations around current small business policy issues and regulations. SBAC attendees provide valuable recommendations to the full Public Policy Committee and have the opportunity to ask questions of the advocacy team regarding changes in laws that may impact their business.
