The SF Biz Connect Launch event offers the resources you need for the holiday season and continued New Year ahead.
In partnership with the Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD), the San Francisco Chamber is leading SF Biz Connect, a new city wide initiative focused on encouraging business to 'Shop Local'.
The initiative encourages large businesses to take the pledge to shift 5% of their spending to small, local companies and to identify and encourage small businesses to list their company on the website. The purpose of the launch event is to officially kick-off the SF Biz Connect program, recognize our involved partners and encourage the interaction between large and small businesses.
Theme
The theme of the event is Holiday/Events Made Easy. With the holidays around the corner we are targeting local small businesses who offer; catering, products for corporate gifting, promotional items, event planning and any other goods or services that can be associated with the holiday season, to table at the event and highlight their goods and services.
We would like to invite you along with the SF Biz Connect pledged partners like Airbnb, Recology, Zendesk and Pinterest to attend, connect with local company?s tabling and enjoy an evening of networking to help us celebrate the launch of SF Biz Connect and shopping local.
