At this Job Forum workshop will share 7 key elements or strategies to help you “up the odds” of being successful in landing a new job.
We base some of our advice on wisdom from What Color Is Your Parachute? In that classic book, as most volunteers at The Job Forum will tell you, job seekers are advised that you need to employ more than one strategy to be successful in finding employment.
Yet, so many job seekers will simply send out résumé after résumé in response to whatever job postings they can find, failing to consider the benefits of a more comprehensive and holistic approach. We will tell you exactly how to do that more holistic approach.
We will share a lot of facets of savvy job search with tips that many job hunters don’t even consider.
Our two presenters Judson Walsh and Jerome Imhoff are career coaches and resume experts who have been Job Forum volunteers for years.
