On the weekend of March 4–6, 2016 the Old Mint becomes a series of pop-up museums of San Francisco history with dozens of organizations celebrating and telling the stories of the City's unique past. Join community historians, archivists, genealogists, archeologists, researchers, educators, re-enactors and other history enthusiasts for a FREE Community Open House on Saturday and Sunday at this historic site. Friday, March 4 is Education Day, for students by reservation-only. This weekend event is hosted by the City of San Francisco Office of the Mayor in partnership with NonPlusUltra Inc.
