Steve Kawa, Senior Advisor to the SF Chamber
Steve Kawa worked in City Hall for 25 years, serving under Mayors Lee, Newsom and Brown, and began his career at the City and County of San Francisco in 1991, working as a Legislative Aide to former Supervisor Tom Hsieh. Steve helped guide San Francisco through challenging times such as the Great Recession and the aftermath of 9/11, and through historic achievements including marriage equality and universal healthcare access. He also helped oversee unprecedented investments in affordable housing and infrastructure projects.
This Public Policy Forum begins at 12:00 pm in the Chamber boardroom. Light lunch will also be provided thanks to our generous sponsors at Safeway.
