Chinatown Small Business Merchant Walk
San Francisco Chinatown is the largest Chinatown outside of Asia as well as the oldest Chinatown in North America. Since its establishment in 1848, it has been highly important and influential in the history and culture of ethnic Chinese immigrants in North America. Chinatown is an enclave that continues to retain its own customs, languages, places of worship, social clubs, and identity.
The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce is delighted to invite you to our upcoming Chinatown Merchant Walk on February 2nd at 3:00 pm for a chance to get to know and support some amazing small businesses. Together, we will visit 4 small businesses to provide our entrepreneurs and leaders an opportunity to explore, support, and network with one another.
Below is the tentative itinerary:
3:00 pm | Jade Chocolates | 607 Grant Ave.
Jade Chocolates is a small batch chocolatier specializing in blending our creations with teas, spices, and tropical fruits. Established in 2008, we have received numerous awards for our products including a double-gold international win for our Genmai bar.

KIM+ONO is a handcrafted kimono company specializing in silk and charmeuse botanical print kimonos. Each kimono features an original pattern, first sketched by hand, then saturated in rich watercolors using a traditional paintbrush. For 30 years, the business has remained family owned and operated. Launching first as a small boutique in Chinatown under the name Old Shanghai, to its recent transformation into KIM+ONO, the business has evolved and grown into the apparel brand it is today. Since 2004, the sister duo, Renee and Tiffany, have owned KIM+ONO.
