The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce invites you to our Business After Hours special edition, partnering with Carnaval San Francisco. Join us to celebrate Mardi Gras & Black History Month to embrace the core elements of San Francisco; diversity and culture which brings creativity and our communities together.

Mardi Gras & Black History Month Special Edition
🖤 February is Black History Month. The Black History Month 2023 theme, Black Resistance, explores how "African Americans have resisted historic and ongoing oppression, in all forms, especially the racial terrorism of lynching, racial pogroms, and police killings," since the nation's earliest days. About Bissap Baobab: Bissap Baobab Village, formerly comprised of both Bissap Baobab and Little Baobab, embodies the culture of San Francisco's popular and international Mission District. For decades, the Mission's Little Baobab has served Senegalese dishes like tangy, mustard-based Yassa by day and groovy Burna Boy Afrobeats by night. After Little Baobab was forced to close, the Entertainment Commission approved owner Marco's entertainment permit, giving him the green light to move his Little Baobab, into a much larger space. Now the restaurant opened up a larger space with more variety and, of course, more room to dance. Learn more about his story here.

Business After Hours is the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce's spirited mixers, bringing together hundreds of professionals from a variety of industries and company sizes to network, build relationships, and have fun at an exciting new location multiple times a year. These events are an opportunity to exchange business cards with other Chamber Members, make new contacts, win prizes, and enjoy refreshments.
