Building the Cleantech Workforce: Skills for a Sustainable Future
As climate challenges accelerate, so does the need for a workforce ready to meet them. Join Yes SF for a practical and inspiring conversation for students and early career professionals exploring how to break into the cleantech sector.
This panel will feature voices from across the climate innovation ecosystem. You’ll hear from startup founders creating new models for sustainable packaging and manufacturing, including Helen Yang, founder of Clement Packaging, and Sanjeev Mankotia, founder of GaeaStar.
They’ll be joined by Courtney Masterson, Associate Dean at USF, who will speak to how universities are preparing students for climate-era careers, and Claudia Paredes, Civic Leadership Manager at Coro Northern California, who will highlight how leadership training and cross-sector collaboration can shape effective, community-centered climate solutions
