Join us for a Merchant Walk through Bernal Heights, a neighborhood steeped in history and charm. Once a rural pasture and a haven after the 1906 earthquake, Bernal Heights has evolved into a vibrant community known for its stunning city views, unique architecture, and warm, welcoming atmosphere. As we stroll along Cortland Avenue, we’ll visit several independently owned businesses, from artisanal cafes to distinctive boutiques, each with its own story to tell. The walk will culminate in a lively reception where you can connect with fellow attendees and celebrate the rich, local culture that makes Bernal Heights truly special. WHERE WE'LL VISIT:    3:00 pm Pinhole Coffee, 231 Cortland Ave (Meet-Up)  Pinhole Coffee, a beloved neighborhood spot since 2014, offers expertly crafted coffee using locally sourced beans and fresh pastries from Bay Area bakeries, all in a welcoming space inspired by pinhole photography.    3:25 pm Book Castle SF, 443 Cortland Ave  Book Castle SF, a vibrant WoC-owned indie bookstore, offers a carefully curated selection of new and used books for all ages. They are dedicated to thoughtfully providing a diverse selection that ensures everyone can discover stories that truly resonate with their unique experiences.    3:50 pm 12 Small Things, 513 Cortland Ave  12 Small Things curates a thoughtful collection of handcrafted goods from artisans worldwide, emphasizing quality, style, and fair practices. Each purchase supports these craftspeople in earning a living wage and uplifting their communities.    4:15 pm Inclusions Gallery, 627 Cortland Ave  Inclusions Gallery offers a vibrant showcase of contemporary art across diverse media since 2007. With a commitment to inclusivity and creative expression, the gallery presents rotating exhibitions featuring both established and emerging artists, while providing a unique platform for collectors and art enthusiasts alike.    4:30 pm San Francisco Tequila Shop, 801 Cortland Ave SF Tequila Shop invites you to embark on a journey through Mexico's rich tequila and mezcal traditions. With a curated selection of both renowned and rare bottles, each visit promises a taste of agave history and craftsmanship.    5:00 pm VinoRosso, 629 Cortland Ave (Reception) VinoRosso, established in 2006, is a charming Italian wine bar offering a rotating selection of over 70 fine Italian and Californian wines, many available by the glass. The menu features fresh, homemade regional Italian dishes crafted from organic and sustainable ingredients, with new regional specialties introduced every Thursday.
