2026 City Hall Advocacy Day
The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce attendees joined a broad coalition representing the City’s diverse business community to advocate with a common voice, propose solutions to ongoing issues impacting local businesses, and collaborate with civic leaders to find meaningful paths forward.

- Julie Kirschbaum, Director of Transportation, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency
Discussions centered on creating a more predictable and competitive environment for businesses to start, grow, and stay in San Francisco.
Key themes included streamlining regulations, stabilizing business taxes, supporting small and BIPOC‑owned businesses, accelerating housing production at all income levels, and investing in transportation and infrastructure that improve mobility and access to jobs. Clean and safe streets, public safety, and long‑term resilience planning also emerged as cross‑cutting priorities for both city leaders and the business community.
City Hall Advocacy Day underscored the Chamber’s role as a bridge between employers and policymakers and highlighted the impact of showing up together at City Hall with clear, constructive solutions.
