The Excellence in Business Awards (Ebbies) is San Francisco's preeminent celebration of the Bay Area's visionary entrepreneurs, business leaders, and exemplary corporate citizens. Each fall the SF Chamber recognizes businesses in several categories during an evening of networking and celebration. This year, the Ebbies is going virtual and will be celebrating our business community and 170 years of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce in an online format.

The Awards

Excellence in Business Award - Sponsored by United Airlines.
A San Francisco-based company that has shown remarkable profitability and stability. The company must also exemplify excellent corporate citizenship by giving back to the community in which it operates and possess a corporate culture that enhances the lives of its employees.

Non-Profit of the Year Award - Sponsored by Kaiser Permanente.
Awareded to a San Francisco-based non-profit organization who continues to push their mission forward. This organization is innovative, builds relationships with the San Francisco business community, and is a leader in the nonprofit sector.

Sustainability Award - Sponsored by Recology and Alaska Airlines.
San Francisco business that stands as exemplary in their commitment to our City's overall sustainability goals that include energy, water, waste, reduction, best practices, efficiency and focused sustainability culture within their company.

Small Business of the Year Award - Sponsored by Blue Shield of California
A small San Francisco business that exemplifies the diversity of products and services that are uniquely San Francisco. Nominees should be able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit that reflects a commitment to the City's future.

Corporate Social Responsibility Award - A San Francisco-based company who actively supports philanthropy and volunteer efforts that can benefit our business community. Demonstrates leadership, sincerity and on-going commitment in incorporating ethical values.
