DESCRIPTION:There are many organizations already doing great work with/for women in business\, but not many specifically supporting the economic growth and development of Lesbians\, Bi and Trans women in business\; a traditionally undeserved\,overlooked and often disproportionately discriminated against segment of the business community at larger. As the women's component of the SF Bay Area's LGBT chamber of commerce\, WAVE is uniquely positioned to provide leadership and positive change in this arena.\n\nWAVE seeks to promote awareness\, opportunity and education that supports the economic equality and professional development of lesbian\, bisexual and transgender women in business.\n\nThrough Mentorship\,Continuing Education\, Accountability\, Policy & Outreach\, focused on the issues and needs of lesbian\,bisexual and transgender women in business WAVE brings together LGBT business professionals and their straight allies\,corporate sponsors\, small businesses\;both emerging and established\,and together\, creates environments for learning and positive change.\n\nThe event is free for GGBA members and $20 for non-members. \n\nQuarterly General Meetings: Open to all.
