San Francisco accepted the challenge and formed a local team that has been working on eliminating opportunity gaps for young people in the City. In this executive briefing\, attendees will receive an in-depth look at the collaborative's work to improve opportunities for African American youth in San Francisco.  \n\n \n\nMatt Thomas (African American Chamber of Commerce) and Orlando White (LinkedIn) will co-moderate a discussion with key MBSK leaders:\n\n	Sheryl Davis\, Executive Director of the SF Human Rights Commission\n	Dr. Vincent Matthews\, Superintendent of San Francisco Unified School District\n	Theo Miller\, Office of the Mayor\, San Francisco\n	Katie Ferrick\, Director of Community Affairs\, LinkedIn\n\n The conversation will provide insight into SFUSD's African American achievement initiative and how the new superintendent plans to address the opportunity gaps that persist.
