DESCRIPTION:Online registration is now closed.\n\nPlease register at the door on Thursday morning.\n\n \n\n Join the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce's BUILDSF initiative at PlanGrid for networking and a panel discussion with experts about the impact of technology in the construction industry. \n\n\n\nThe Chamber's BUILDSF Council is an economic development initiative supporting economy-boosting projects in San Francisco. Convening partners in the building and construction industry\, BUILDSF identifies and rallies behind projects that grow the economy\, improve the city's sustainability\, and deliver housing and transportation infrastructure meeting the needs of the growing region. \n\n \n\nPANELISTS:\n\n \n\nKathryn Cahill - Moderator\n\nCEO\, Cahill Contractors LLC\n\nKathryn joined Cahill Contractors in 2007\, becoming the fourth generation of the Cahill family to work in the construction business. While at Cahill\, Kathryn has worked on construction projects spanning affordable housing\, market rate condominiums\, senior housing\, and religious facilities.\n\n \n\nPrior to Cahill\, Kathryn worked in management consulting at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) and in nonprofit management and strategy for the Bridgespan Group and Oakland Unified School District.\n\n \n\nKathryn holds an A.B. in Economics modified with Geography from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business\, where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar.  She is a member of the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\nTracy Young\n\nCEO\, PlanGrid\n\nTracy is the CEO and one of the four founders of PlanGrid. Tracy has a degree in Construction Engineering Management\, and helped build several hospitals prior to founding PlanGrid. She likes to joke that she went from working for one superintendent to hundreds of thousands through PlanGrid.\n\n\n\nPeter Grant\n\nCEO & Founder\, Safesite Solutions\n\nPeter Grant\, CEO and Founder of Safesite Solutions\, has a strong background in civil engineering\, project management and safety process management. He and his team are using the latest advances in mobile technologies and wearable devices to empower every field worker with safety.  \n\n \n\nOriginating in Australia\, Safesite is now an industry leader in safety improvement and risk profiling across the US. The system is in use on over 800 projects across the country\, with contractors benefiting from reductions in incident rates of up to 19%.\n\n\n\nChase Corcorran\n\nConstruction Superintendent\, WEBCOR Builders\n\nChase has spent that last year working with WEBCOR's pre-construction & estimating group on proposals in between stints as a carpenter at the Trinity Project (as a sub to Swinerton) as well as 801 Brannan (sub to Balfour). He has also been fortunate enough to become the company co-lead on college recruiting\, intern & PE hiring. Chase recently moved over to the Mexican Museum project at 706 Mission\, where he will be for the next 2-3 years.\n\n\n\nUpon graduating from Cal Poly\, Chase came to work at WEBCOR full time the Winter of 2010. He has worked with WEBCOR's C&S division on the Campus for Jewish Life\, Infinity Tower & SF General Hospital as well as an engineer with the company's concrete group at the Cal Memorial Stadium.
