She was first appointed by San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee in February 2013\, then elected in November 2013 and re-elected in November 2014. \n\n\n\nIn 2017\, Supervisor Tang passed legislation that created new pathways to build affordable housing through increased density and set minimum lactation accommodation requirements. She has recently introduced a measure for the June 2018 ballot focused on the City's budget set-asides as well as legislation banning the sale of fur. \n\n\n\nSupervisor Tang currently serves on the Board of Supervisors Land Use and Transportation and Budget and Finance Committees. \n\n\n\nWe invite you to join us and remember: Lunch is free thanks to our generous partners at Ladle and Leaf.
