Seating will be limited\, so please register today!\n\nThe Supplier Diversity Program is partnering with:\n\n\n UC Berkeley Local Government and Community Relations Office\n UCSF Community Engagement Unit\n Small Business Administration (SBA)\n Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) of the East Bay\n California Department of General Services (DGS)\n City of Richmond\n Richmond Chamber of Commerce\n Richmond Main Street\n RichmondWORKS\n and a number of others\n\nAgenda will include:\n\n\n SBA\, SBDC\, and DGS presentations on their business counseling and workshops\n An interview with a small business\, Bay Systems Inc\, which participated in SBA's 8(a) Business Development Program and now has a UC systemwide agreement to provide IT Professional Services\n A panel discussion on capital and loans with diverse businesses. Panelists will address how they have grown their capital and have successfully applied for and received loans\n Breakout sessions for businesses to talk to each other\n\nLight refreshments\, coffee and tea will be available when you arrive\, as well as later in the morning\, a chance to taste offerings from caterers registered through our UC Berkeley/UCSF America To Go (ATG) catering broker. Representatives from ATG will be present if you are interested in providing future catering services to either of the campuses.
