DESCRIPTION:John F. Rothmann is a renowned radio talk show host\, popular lecturer and political and foreign policy consultant. For sixteen years he was the host of the John Rothmann Program on the ABC affiliated KGO Newstalk 810AM. Currently\, he can be heard locally on KKSF Talk 910AM. He fills in regularly for radio host Dr. Bill Wattenberg on "The Open Line to America" heard all over the United States on Sunday evenings.   \n\nA frequent lecturer on American politics and the presidency\, Rothmann has also been involved in a broad variety of political campaigns on the national\, state and local levels.  Presidential scholar Richard Norton Smith\, in his book Thomas E. Dewey and the Making of the Modern Republican Party calls Rothmann "a scholar of modern Republicanism". Historian Roger Morris in his biography\, Richard Millhous Nixon-The Rise of An American Politician\, acknowledges Rothmann "for his unique insights\, and in particular for rare and crucial materials . . ." He has been on the faculty of the Fromm Institute at the University of San Francisco since 2004.\n\nRothmann is the co-author of two highly acclaimed books\, Icon of Evil-Hitler's Mufti and the Rise of Radical Islam and Harold E. Stassen: The Life and Perennial Candidacy of the Progressive Republican.
