SUMMARY:Public Policy Forum: The Future of the Presidio with Jean Fraser\, Director of the Presidio Trust
DESCRIPTION:Public Policy Forum: The Future of the Presidio\n\nwith Jean Fraser\, Director of the Presidio Trust\n\n\n\n \n\nJoin us on June 12 as Jean Fraser\, Director of the Presidio Trust\, join us to discuss work since joining the Presidio Trust and her vision for its future. \n\n\n\nUnder Fraser's leadership\, the Presidio Trust aims to make the Presidio a place where people of all backgrounds and abilities particularly those now underserved by national parks find inspiration\, recreation\, and relaxation. Over the past two decades\, the Trust and its partners have converted the former military post into a welcoming national park in an urban area in collaboration with the National Park Service and the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. The future of the Presidio includes a focus on several projects to advance its mission for the inspiration\, education\, health\, and enjoyment of all people.\n\n \n\nMs. Fraser arrived at the Presidio Trust in 2016 after serving as the CEO of the San Francisco Health Plan\, Chief of the San Mateo County Health System\, and in the San Francisco City Attorney's Office. She has long been an advocate for livable communities through her service on the boards of SPUR\, TransForm\, and the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. \n\n\n\nThe June 12 Public Policy Forum begins at 12:00 pm in the Chamber boardroom. Light lunch will also be provided thanks to our generous sponsors at Safeway. \n\n\nThe Chamber's Public Policy Forums are held monthly to help partners understand and engage in key issues impacting the business community. Forums feature elected representatives\, city department heads\, subject-matter experts and community leaders in a facilitated dialogue on issues of concern.
