DESCRIPTION:Public Policy Forum:\n\n The Future of San Francisco International Airport\n\n \n\nJoin us July 12 as John Martin\, Retiring Director of the San Francisco International Airport (SFO)\, and Ivar Satero\, Succeeding Director of SFO\, present on the current state of the airport and its future direction. \n\n\n\n  John L. Martin has served as Airport Director since November 1995. He has worked\n\n  for the Airport Commission since 1981. Mr. Martin was the founding president \n\n  of the California Airports Council\, a statewide consortium of 30 commercial \n\n  airports that was formed in December 2009. He serves on the Executive\n\n  Committee of the Bay Area Council and the Board of Directors of San Francisco Travel.\n\n  He is also a past member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of Airports Council International (ACI)\, Pacific Region and a former Board member of ACI-North America.\n\n\n\n  Ivar Satero was appointed the Succeeding Director of the International Airport\n\n  by Mayor Lee on April 26\, 2016. He has worked at SFO for 22 years as Chief\n\n  Operating Officer\, as Deputy Airport Director for Design and Construction\, and\n\n  as Program Manager\, developing\, maintaining and operating one of the fastest\n\n  growing airports in the world.
