DESCRIPTION:Management and Leadership of the Nonprofit Sector is a five-week intensive course focused on the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to launch or fast track a successful nonprofit career.\n\n \n\nParticipants will walk away from this course with a working knowledge of:\n\n the history\, contributions\, and unique characteristics of the nonprofit sector and its management\,\n\n basic laws\, regulations and professional standards that govern nonprofit sector operations\, knowledge of risk and crisis management\, ethics and decision-making\, and\n\n human resource fundamentals\, such as recruiting and retaining top talent.\n\n \n\nLearner Expectations\n\nCome with an open mind and willingness to share your experiences and ideas.
