DESCRIPTION:A Conversation with State Treasurer John Chiang\n\n\n\nThe San Francisco Chamber of Commerce invites our small business partners to join State Treasurer John Chiang for a discussion on the California Secure Choice Retirement Savings Program.\n\n\n\nThe Secure Choice Retirement Savings Investment Board was created to study the feasibility of providing an automatic retirement savings program for private sector employees without access to retirement through their employers. The Board is developing program recommendations which will be presented to the Legislature early next year. If passed\, the program would automatically cover all California workers without access to an employer-sponsored plan.\n\n\n\nState Treasurer John Chiang will be at the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce as part of a statewide listening tour to collect input from small businesses on how to best implement the system.\n\n\n\nLight refreshments will be provide.
