WETA Service Vision Workshop: Future of Water Transit & Emergency Response
WETA is hosting a stakeholder workshop to inform their 2050 Service Vision for water transit and emergency response.
About this event
2050 WETA Service Vision Overview
Water transit has been a vital part of life in the San Francisco Bay Area, but what should it look like in the coming decades? To answer that question, the San Francisco Bay Area Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA) is embarking on a service visioning effort to craft a shared vision of the San Francisco Bay Area ferry system by 2050, including the level of service and extent of WETA ferry operations and emergency response. This “Service Vision” informs how WETA operates in the future and what changes will need to be made to get there. The vision will serve as the foundation of WETA's Business Plan, which will present the specific strategies required to achieve the 2050 WETA Service Vision.
