Will State Proposal Cut Back San Francisco's Water Supply?
In September 2016, the State Water Resources Control Board proposed changes to the Bay-Delta Water Quality Control Plan that could reduce San Francisco's water supply and may have consequences for the Bay Area economy and its communities.
Join us on December 8 as Steve Ritchie, Assistant General Manager of the Water Enterprise at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, discusses the proposed changes, and the importance of developing solutions that cause less damage to our economy and communities.
Mr. Ritchie is responsible for overseeing water system operations and planning from Hetch Hetchy through the Regional Water System to the City Distribution Division and the management of lands and natural resources.
We invite you to join us and remember, lunch is free thanks to our generous sponsors at Safeway and Halo Fine Confections.
