During this Covid-19 pandemic time of unrelenting uncertainty, it is not unusual to feel that you have little or no control over your job search. In this webinar, you will learn science-based practices and approaches that will help you create more certainty, control and progress in your goal to become re-employed or change jobs.
The session will be presented by Job Forum volunteer Bobbie LaPorte, an organizational and leadership development consultant who has helped thousands of professionals successfully navigate job changes, and now works with corporate leaders to manage through uncertainty. Key topics for the webinar will include:
- Why staying positive in your search is also good for your brain
- How to strike the important balance between daily and your longer-term goals
- How creating structure in your day also creates much-needed “bumps of certainty” that our brains need
- How discovering and leveraging your Signature Strengths can accelerate your search AND improve your overall well-being
